moving

Yep! We’re at this whole moving across the world thing again. I know, I know, I said we were staying in the States until AT LEAST Christmas, and we did just buy a house. But things changed…and boy, did they change fast. All of our previous experiences with applying for visas have been incredibly long and drawn out processes. However, our visas this time were processed in just ONE DAY. It was nuts. We literally just booked our flights last… Read more »

New house

Well, we’re going to have to do some updates to the blog description…because we can no longer call ourselves “nomads.” My husband and I just bought our first house! That feels really weird to say, haha. Now, this doesn’t mean we’ll stop traveling by any means. It just means we’ll actually have somewhere to come home to now. If you’re looking to have a home to get back to yourself but finances could be an issue, look at guarantor mortgage… Read more »

sunset

Today’s post I wanted to take a minute to update everyone on what exactly is going on over here at Have Clothes, Will Travel. We left Argentina over a month ago, but there hasn’t been any big moving announcements or hints as to what’s been happening since we left. I’ve been getting a few questions about this and figured I’d let you lovely readers know what’s going on since that announcement. If you’ve been following along for awhile, you’ll know… Read more »

Rosario, Argentina at sunset

We made it! It was one heck of a journey from Sydney to Queenstown, NZ to Rotorua, NZ to Auckland, NZ and then Buenos Aires, but we’re finally moved into our new place in Rosario. I just wanted to give a little update on how everything went, as I’ve been getting some questions that I haven’t had a chance to respond to. (It’s been a bit crazy + we JUST got the internet in our place.) And I’ll start posting… Read more »

We're moving!

Yep, you read that title right. We are moving all the way across the world yet again! Don’t worry, we’re just as surprised as you. We really thought we were going to be calling Australia home for much longer than 6 months. But hey, no complaints here! We’re all for new adventures. We actually just squared away the last of the details yesterday, so now I can say with certainty we are moving to Rosario, Argentina on April 8th! It’s… Read more »

Shein Polka dot dress

As you’re reading this post, I will be flying somewhere over the Pacific Ocean on my way to our new home Sydney, Australia! That is crazy to think. Especially since we’ve been trying to move to Australia for the past 4 years…it really doesn’t feel like it’s happening now. So, this will be my last outfit post from Japan. I do have a few travel posts from Tokyo that I will publish next week (including a post about what surprised… Read more »

Summer outfit - ice cream purse

Alrighty, our regularly scheduled programming is going to get a bit shaken up here at Have Clothes, Will Travel. I’m getting ready to move (once again), and things are going to be a little crazy around here. Sadly, my time in Tokyo is coming to an end. I really don’t want it to be over…Japan has been such an incredible country to live in these past few months. I’m honestly a bit depressed about it, which the gloomy, rainy weather… Read more »

We're moving!

Our visas are in hand, the flights are booked and our bags are (almost) packed! We are all set to fly out on Wednesday! I am in absolute disbelief that this is finally happening. We have been waiting for more than 5 months to move internationally, but the visa process has been a bit slow. Actually, that’s an understatement. We thought we would be moving back in January! And we’ve been trying for more than 3 years now to be… Read more »

Top of the Rock

*If you like this post featuring fun things to do in NYC in winter, it is now available on iTunes as a self-guided walking tour! Click here to download it. This weekend I said farewell to the Big Apple and am now packing my bags for our next adventure. I know the last time I moved I did a farewell post on the city I had been living in at the time (Stevens Point). While technically I don’t live in… Read more »

short haircut

Wowza! There’s all kinds of changes to talk about in this post, haha. I suppose we can start with the most obvious one – I chopped my hair off! Oh, and it’s (almost) back to its natural color. I swear this isn’t me having a hair crisis or anything. It’s in preparation for a whole ton of moving and not really wanting to have to deal with my hair at the moment. My husband and I just found out over… Read more »

It took me a few tries before I was finally able to write this post. I guess I am just in denial that we are actually leaving Stevens Point, Wisconsin…which has been our home for the past year and a half. I’m probably going to be a bit of an emotional wreck by the time I actually finish it. When my husband and I first found out we were moving to Stevens Point, I remember being very disappointed and thinking “What… Read more »

I don’t usually get too personal on my blog. I try to keep the content light and fun. However, for this post I’m going to take the time to explain my life a little better. I think a good starting point will be my wedding. That’s what the above pictures are of. As you can see, we didn’t have the big fairy tale wedding with the white dress. We were married in a courthouse, and I went shopping the night… Read more »
