Quince Review 2026: What’s Worth It (and What I Wouldn’t Buy Again)

I’ve bought enough from Quince over the years to know what they do well — and what I would not waste my money on again.

This post is not sponsored. Quince has never reached out to me; they have no idea who I am, and everything I’m talking about here was bought with my own money.

I first started ordering from Quince in 2024 because I kept seeing people talk about the brand in travel and shopping forums I’m part of.

The pitch is pretty tempting: elevated basics, cashmere, silk, leather bags, jewelry, and workwear that are supposed to look a lot more expensive than they are.

And after testing a pretty decent mix of their clothing and accessories for almost two years, I have some thoughts.

So in this post, I’m going to break down what I loved and what I didn’t, and then I’ll also talk about sizing, shipping, returns, and whether I think Quince is actually worth it.

The Best Quince Items I’ve Tried

Cotton Modal V-Neck Tee

This tee is one of the easiest wins from Quince. It’s very soft, stretchy, and easy to wear.

And I’ve been wearing this constantly. I’ve dressed it up for dinner with dress pants and a cardigan. I also wore it on safari in Rwanda. And I wear it casually with jeans. It’s very versatile.

And for less than $20, I think this is one of the best values on the site. It’s holding up very well! I want to order it in all the colors!

If you’re new to Quince and just want one lower-risk thing to try, I think this tee is a really good place to start.

Ultra-Stretch Ponte Flare Leg Pants

These are probably my favorite pants I’ve bought from Quince. They’re made from a rayon-nylon-spandex ponte knit with 4-way stretch, and they really do have that polished but comfortable feel.

Now, I will say the size chart steered me wrong on these pants. It made it seem like a small would work for me, and absolutely not. I returned that pair, reordered them in a medium, and the medium has been amazing.

I wear these all the time for work travel, dinners, and everything from Christmas gatherings to funerals… where you still want to look put together without being uncomfortable.

The waistband doesn’t bother me at all, which is huge for me because I’m really sensitive to waistbands that feel too tight or put pressure on my stomach.

These are one of my best Quince purchases, easily. I love them.

My 14k stud gold earrings from Quince

14K Gold Line Studs

These are my everyday earrings now.

I’ve had them for over a year, and I wear them constantly. I sleep in them, shower in them, work out in them, travel in them — these earrings get worn through everything.

They’re comfortable, they go with everything, and they still look great. No complaints here. These are absolutely worth it. I’d definitely buy these again.

hoodie navy by Quince

Flowknit Full Zip Hoodie

This is another Quince item I’ve had for over a year, and it has held up incredibly well.

I wear this hoodie about once a week, so at this point it’s probably been worn and washed around 50 times, and it still looks close to new. It’s soft, breathable, and easy to throw on for errands, walks, or light exercise.

I wash it in cold water, heavy-duty cycle, and I do dry it — and it still looks great. This is one of those pieces that made me trust Quince even more. This is a great buy!

Quince rip stop joggers worn on safari

Micro Ripstop Mid-Rise Hike Joggers

These pants surprised me in a good way.

Again, I’m really picky about pants, especially when it comes to waistbands. There are a lot of pants that technically fit me, but still feel bad after sitting in them for a while. These don’t do that.

They were great on my Rwanda trip, and I’ve also worn them a lot while working from home because they’re just really comfortable and easy to wear all day. Plus, they are really breathable – these pants are definitely more spring/summer than winter/fall.

If you want comfortable, lightweight travel pants, I think these are a solid buy.

Quince Cashmere: Good, But Not Always Consistent

Lightweight Mongolian Cashmere Crewneck Sweater – Oatmeal

I really like this sweater.

It’s soft, it has held up well, and I swear this one feels nicer than some of my other Quince cashmere pieces, even though it’s supposed to be very similar on paper.

I wear this one regularly, and it’s stayed in pretty good shape. For $50, this is a really solid buy. My only complaint is that the medium feels a little smaller on me than I’d like, even though that’s what the size chart suggested.

Love this sweater, but if I ordered it again, I’d probably size up to a large. (This is the sweater I am wearing in my YouTube video.)

Mongolian Cashmere Crewneck Sweater – Ivory/Black Stripe

This is where I started noticing that Quince cashmere is not perfectly consistent from piece to piece.

I sized up in this one and do like the roomier fit. I wear it for travel because it’s breathable, comfortable, and doesn’t seem to cling to odors much.

But compared to the oatmeal one, this one, for some reason, feels slightly scratchier, seems to pill faster, and just doesn’t look quite as nice to me. Something about the finish or the stripe version seems a little cheaper.

So I don’t think Quince cashmere is bad. I just don’t think every single one is equal.

Mongolian Cashmere Cardigan Sweater– Black

Mongolian Cashmere Cardigan Sweater – Black

This one is fine. That’s kind of the problem.

There’s nothing wildly wrong with this cardigan, but I thought I was going to wear it way more than I actually do. It mostly sits in my closet.

For the price, I just expected it to feel a little more special or polished than it does.

This is not one I’d rush to buy again.

Mongolian Cashmere Structured Cardigan– Black

Mongolian Cashmere Structured Cardigan – Black

This cardigan is much better.

It’s soft, warm, and feels more substantial and well-made than the simpler cardigan. I also like that it has a little more shape to it, and the sleeves are a nice detail, too.

It feels more styled, and I especially like it with dresses, though it works with pants too.

My mom actually liked this one so much that she ordered the brown version and has been really happy with it.

The Pants That Worked for Me… and the Ones That Didn’t

Ultra-Stretch Ponte Super Wide Leg Pants

I do really like these pants.

They’re comfortable, they look nice, and I wear them for work and travel too. But I do have one complaint: the legs are wide enough that I sometimes step on them, especially in airports or on planes.

They’re also a little short on me, so heels are kind of off the table. So yes, I like them. But not as much as the flare version.

cotton modal tee with joggers
Flowknit High-Rise Boyfriend Jogger

Flowknit High-Rise Boyfriend Jogger

These are one of those items that started out better than they ended up being.

At first, I liked them fine. But after more than a year of wear, I just don’t love them. The waistband is the main issue for me. I can’t wear them for long without getting uncomfortable, and I don’t think sizing up would really solve that.

They also attract every piece of lint and pet hair in my house, and they just don’t look as good now as some of my other Quince pieces do after similar wear. (You can see this better in my YouTube video.)

These are not a favorite.

The Quince Items I Returned

linen pants quince

100% European Linen Pants (white)

No photos of these – they were way too R-rated lol.

These were an immediate no for me.

They actually felt comfortable, but they were way too sheer for my taste. I didn’t even try to talk myself into keeping them. These went right back.

Shop these pants.

Italian leather bag

Italian Leather Patchwork Crossbody

This is the item from my most recent order that I had the highest hopes for.

Quince describes it as 100% top-grain Italian leather with a cotton twill lining, and on paper, that sounds very promising.

And to be fair, it’s not a bad-looking bag. If you like the style, I can absolutely see why this one catches your eye. It’s clearly meant to scratch that Loewe Puzzle Bag itch without the Loewe price tag.

But for $160, I am just not that impressed.

Amoretu Women's V Neck Loose Summer Swing Shift Pleated Dresses
I like this less expensive bag by Floto better.

I have a couple of less expensive leather bags from smaller brands that I personally think look and feel nicer, and have held up beautifully for years. This one almost looks a little plasticky to me. Not horrible. Just not good enough at that price.

So for me, this one is getting returned.

Newest Quince Item I’m Still Testing

Washable Stretch Silk Shell Tank

This is my newest item, so I’m not going to pretend I have a long-term verdict yet.

My first impression of this tank is that it is very comfortable to wear, and it looks nice. I’ve worn it a couple of times under my cardigans since I got it. I like that it has 10% spandex in it vs being 100% silk because that gives it a little stretch, and it doesn’t look as wrinkly as silk tends to get, especially after you wash it.

I’ve just washed this one in my washing machine on gentle cycle and fluff it in the dryer for a few minutes… then I take it out and let it air dry.

I’ll update my full thoughts on this one once I’ve worn it more.

Shipping, Returns, and Sizing

One thing to know about Quince is that shipping can be a little uneven if you order multiple items.

On its current shipping page, Quince says standard shipping is always free, and delivery is typically 6 to 9 calendar days, though they recommend budgeting a couple extra days for carrier delays.

That said, in my experience, things do not always arrive together. If you place a multi-item order, one piece might show up within a week, and another might take closer to two weeks.

Returns have actually been very easy for me, which is one of the reasons I feel comfortable continuing to shop with them.

Quince currently says eligible items can be returned for a full refund or exchange within 365 days, as long as they meet the return requirements. They also note that store credit is processed faster, while refunds to your original payment method are handled after the return is received and restocked.

In my own experience, I’ve returned around six things now, and it’s been straightforward every time. It usually takes around a week and a half to get the item back to them and see the refund hit my account.

Sizing is probably the biggest wildcard with Quince.

Some things fit exactly how I expected. Other things really did not. The ponte flare pants are a perfect example — I absolutely needed to size up from what the chart suggested.

So I would still check the size chart, but I would not treat it like gospel. If, for example, you are a size medium normally, that is probably what you are in Quince sizing, even if the size chart suggests a size small. At least that’s been my experience.

Final Verdict: Is Quince Worth It?

So, is Quince worth it? For me, yes.

I’ve found some really good staples there. I am especially impressed with their basics, black dress pants, and jewelry.

That said, not everything is a hit. I think Quince does some categories much better than others. I’d be more careful with bags and anything you’re expecting to feel super luxe just because it says cashmere or Italian leather.

But overall, I’ve had good experiences with Quince, their returns have been easy, and I’ll definitely keep ordering from them. You just have to shop a little strategically.

If you’ve ordered from Quince, let me know in the comments what was worth it for you — and what absolutely was not.
