Your Dog Could Fly With You in Business Class — Thanks to This New Travel Membership

A luxury travel membership is now promising enough airline miles for a business-class flight each year.

The detail that makes it more interesting: your dog might be able to come along in the cabin.

ASMALLWORLD has partnered with Turkish Airlines to offer members up to 500,000 Miles&Smiles miles annually, depending on the membership tier.

That’s the kind of mileage that can cover a long-haul business class flight if you redeem it right.

And unlike a lot of premium cabin setups, Turkish Airlines does allow small pets in the cabin on many routes.

How the Pet Part Actually Works

Turkish Airlines allows cats and dogs to fly in the cabin as long as they are in an approved carrier and weigh no more than 8kg (about 17.6 lbs), including the carrier.

That means, in some cases, a small dog or cat could be on the same flight as you, even if you’re using those miles to book a more premium seat.

There are still restrictions. Carrier size matters, and routes can vary. And larger pets still need to go in the hold.

But compared to many long-haul carriers, it’s a relatively flexible setup.

The “Free Flight” Has a Catch

The biggest benefit is tied to ASMALLWORLD’s top Signature membership, which costs about £8,557 per year and includes 500,000 Miles&Smiles miles.

Lower tiers come with fewer miles, starting at 35,000 miles for the Advantage membership.

So yes, the miles can cover a major flight redemption. But this is still a luxury membership, not a no-strings-attached freebie.

This Fits Into a Much Bigger Trend

The interesting part isn’t just the miles. It’s how clearly this is being marketed to pet owners.

Luxury travel has started treating pets less like a complication and more like part of the experience.

At places like the Mandarin Oriental Paris, dogs can get custom bedding, toys, and even a dedicated menu prepared by a Michelin-starred chef.

At the Belmond Hotel Splendido, pets can have their own bathrobes, wellness treatments, and access to a dog concierge.

It’s not subtle.

And Then There’s Flights Designed Just for Dogs

If this still feels a little over the top, there are now entire flight services built around pets.
