Beautiful Destinations, the travel brand behind some of the most stunning content on Instagram, has teamed up with Visit Dubai to launch a one-of-a-kind opportunity: a free, all-expenses-paid creator residency in Dubai – and they’re looking for everyday people with a passion for storytelling to join.
What’s the deal?
Starting May 2025, a handful of lucky applicants will be selected to join the first-ever Beautiful Destinations Academy Powered by Dubai. It’s a three-month crash course in becoming a professional travel content creator.
You don’t need to be an influencer or have fancy gear. If you love capturing beautiful moments and want to turn your social media hobby into a full-blown career, this program is built for you.
What you get:
- Free luxury accommodation in one of Dubai’s trendiest neighborhoods
- A generous salary to cover your expenses
- Exclusive access to shoot in Dubai’s most iconic – and usually off-limits – locations
- Mentorship from top creators and the Beautiful Destinations team

Applications open April 15, 2025, and the process is simple:
- Post a 60-second video to your Instagram feed that showcases your perspective on travel, culture, or adventure
- Tag @BeautifulDestinations, @VisitDubai, and use the hashtag #BDacademy
- Submit the link and your application at beautifuldestinations.com/academy
The first deadline is April 23, 2025, at 23:59 GMT.
No passport stamps? No problem.
You don’t need a background in travel to get selected. “Some of our best creators started by making amazing videos in their own backyards,” Jauncey explains. “We’re not looking for people who’ve travelled the world – we’re looking for people who can make any location look extraordinary.”
If you miss the first round, don’t worry – new cohorts will be selected every quarter.
