10 Beautiful, Classic Coats For Fall/Winter 2018

Coats are my Achilles heel when it comes to clothing. It’s the main reason I love fall and winter as much as I do. Wearing a beautiful, cozy coat and one of my warm scarves makes me instantly feel 10 times more stylish than I actually am.

I haven’t had a proper fall or winter in years, though. So, I’m excited I’ll be getting some cold temps in Moscow! (As insane as that may sound.) So, I have been patiently waiting for coats to start popping up in stores….and finally! That time has arrived!

This post will consist of coats I would honestly buy or have already ordered. You’ll notice many are trench coats as there is nothing more timeless and classic, in my opinion than a trench coat. Enjoy! And let me know your favorites in the comments.

10 Beautiful, Classic Coats For Fall/Winter 2018

1.)

I have been coveting this coat for about 4 years now. The big hood with Little Red Riding Hood vibes completely stole my heart. I waited to buy it because as I mentioned, I didn’t really have much fall or winter weather these past few years. But behold! I just hit the purchase button on this gorgeous hooded coat. Except, I bought the ivory version…and for whatever reason, that color is far cheaper too!

2.)

As you can tell, I’m also a sucker for ivory colored coats. They go with everything and look so chic. Just have to not drink coffee or red wine whilst wearing them…

3.)

Military inspired coats are also a classic addition to any wardrobe. The buttons are what get me. I also love the color of this coat.

4.)

If you weren’t getting enough Little Red Riding Hood vibes from the first coat…how about for this one? Red may not be as versatile as white or black for a coat…but gosh, it sure is a show stopper!

5.)

Animal print is not a print I tend to gravitate toward, but there is no denying it’s a timelessness and popularity. And this coat is nicely understated in my opinion. I could actually picture myself buying this coat.

It doesn’t get much more timeless than a khaki colored pea coat! I love that this one has a cinched waist and nice pockets…and all those wonderful buttons!!

7.)

So, pink might not be everyone’s first choice for a fall/winter coat. But stay tuned! Because I just ordered this one too! And I have loads of ideas for how I’m going to style it.

8.)

Plaid is a new love for me. I had avoided this print all my life up until last year. I don’t know why I didn’t embrace it sooner! It’s another fantastic print for fall that certainly isn’t going anywhere any time soon.

9.)

I am all for a faux fur collar for my winter coats! Not only does it add a little extra warmth, but I can’t help but think it looks nice and fancy too. And this little Kate Spade number is such a cute color too.

10.)

Last but certainly not least, this gorgeous black coat. Black is the best coat color for someone like me who tends to spill my coffee every time I drink it. (Good thing I just bought two light-colored coats, right?) Plus, black goes with EVERYTHING. Oh, and I can vouch for this coat’s amazingness, as I’ve had its wine-colored version in my closet for about 5 years now. It’s THE best coat, and it’s super warm. (I’ve tested it in Wisconsin winters.) It seriously makes me want to buy the black version.

I’m curious, which coat is your favorite? Let me know in the comments!

*Side note for regular readers – I’m heading back to the US today for a little over a week! I’ll be on a plane by the time this post publishes. One of my best friends is getting married in Wisconsin next weekend! So, I get to head home for the wedding. The blog will still run as normal, I just may not be as responsive while I’m back home with family and friends. Hope you all have a fabulous weekend!

The are such beautiful coats! I don’t have manu printed ones in my wardrobe which is a shame – but I do have a classic camel trench coat that gets pulled out year after year! 🙂

The one with the leopard print is my fave! Not for the print per se, but because I love more structured coats. Beautiful selection, thank you for sharing! 🙂
