G Adventures Just Put 600+ Bucket-List Tours on Sale for 2026 — With Savings Up to 25%

The small-group tour operator’s Great Adventure Sale runs through February 2, with discounts on big-ticket trips like the Inca Trail, Svalbard, South Africa, and more.

If “travel more” is on your 2026 to-do list, one of the big names in small-group tours just dropped a sale that’s actually worth a look. G Adventures has brought back its Great Adventure Sale, with up to 25% off more than 600 tours around the world on select 2026 departures. The sale is live now and runs through February 2, 2026.

That includes everything from quick Europe getaways and family-friendly Thailand trips to longer treks in Peru, safari itineraries in South Africa, and even polar expeditions in Svalbard and Antarctica. In other words: this isn’t just random leftover inventory — there are real bucket list routes in the mix.

What to know about G Adventures’ Great Adventure Sale

G Adventures specializes in small-group trips (usually around a dozen travelers) with a mix of local guides, included activities, and free time. For this sale, they’re discounting more than 600 departures across their main travel styles, including:

  • Classic – balanced itineraries with culture, food, and light activity
  • Active – hiking, trekking, cycling, and other “earn your dinner” trips
  • 18-to-Thirtysomethings – social, budget-friendlier group trips for younger travelers
  • Family – itineraries designed for kids (and parents who don’t want to plan every detail)
  • Wellness and Marine – think yoga, sailing, and island-hopping
  • Solo-ish – trips built specifically with solo travelers in mind

The headline number is up to 25% off select 2026 departures, with some polar and Scotland sailings discounted up to 30%. Most prices are land-only and in USD, and the biggest savings tend to be on earlier-season dates and specific departures, so it’s worth clicking around the sale page and playing with dates before you book.

To give you a feel for what’s actually on sale, here are a few standout itineraries G Adventures is highlighting right now.

1. Amazon to the Andes (Peru)

If Machu Picchu has been taunting you from your Instagram feed, this 12-day Peru itinerary bundles a lot of big-name experiences into one trip. You start in Lima, then head into the Sacred Valley and tackle the classic Inca Trail, finishing at Machu Picchu at sunrise before continuing on to the Amazon for a jungle lodge stay with guided wildlife walks and boat excursions. (This is the Peru itinerary I personally love and recommend.)

Sale pricing currently starts around $1,987 per person (down from about $2,649) for select departures before June 30, 2026, which is roughly 25% off the usual rate, not including flights.

2. Thailand Family Adventure

If you’ve been trying to plan a first “big” international trip with kids, this 12-day Thailand Family Adventure is built for families with children aged six and up. You kick things off in Bangkok with a long-tail boat ride through the city’s canals and visits to historic temples, then stop by Kanchanaburi to see the Bridge on the River Kwai and the ruins of Ayutthaya.

From there, the group heads north to Chiang Mai for hilltop temples and a hands-on Thai cooking class, before finishing with beach time in Phuket — so you get culture, food, and downtime in one itinerary. Sale prices start around $1,499 per person (usually about $1,999) on select departures through December 15, 2026, again excluding flights.

3. Solo-ish South Africa

Traveling solo but don’t actually want to be alone the entire time? G Adventures’ Solo-ish trips are designed for exactly that — you book on your own, but you’re in a small group with built-in company, and you’re not paying eye-watering single supplements.

This 10-day South Africa itinerary runs from Cape Town to Johannesburg and mixes city experiences with safari time. You might be doing a Bo-Kaap cooking class, riding the Table Mountain cable car, or even kayaking near the penguins at Boulders Beach before flying to the Kruger area for game drives and bush walks in search of the Big Five. Sale fares start around $2,474 per person (down from roughly $3,299) on select 2026 dates.

4. Realm of the Polar Bear (Svalbard)

On the splurge-y end of the sale, the Realm of the Polar Bear trip is an eight-day Arctic expedition around Norway’s Svalbard archipelago. You’ll be sailing on the G Expedition ship, heading out on Zodiac cruises and shore landings while scanning for polar bears, Arctic foxes, Svalbard reindeer, seals, and seabirds against a backdrop of glaciers and sea ice. (This is personally the one that I am eyeing right now!)

This one isn’t cheap even on sale, but the discount is significant: prices start around $4,124 per person (typically about $5,499) on select June and July 2026 departures, or about 25% off before flights.

A few things to keep in mind before you book

  • The sale ends February 2, 2026. Once it’s gone, it’s gone — you’ll still see deals on the site later in the year, but this specific promotion is time-limited.
  • Discounts apply to select 2026 departures only. If you change dates or route, the price can jump back up.
  • Flights are extra. All prices listed are land-only, in USD, and don’t include international airfare.
  • Group size and style matter. Read the day-by-day itinerary and the “travel style” description so you’re not surprised by early starts, longer hikes, or more basic accommodations on certain trips.

If you’re even loosely thinking about a bigger 2026 trip, especially something like the Inca Trail, Japan, South Africa, or a polar cruise, it’s at least worth running the numbers during this sale window. Worst case, you get some trip-planning inspiration. Best case, you lock in one of those “someday” trips at a price that’s a lot easier to justify.
