Have Clothes, Will Travel 11-Year Blogiversary + Gift Card Giveaway!

11 years!! Holy moly, where has the time gone? It’s crazy to think Have Clothes, Will Travel has been around for more than a decade.

Every year, I like to take this time to thank each and every one of you for following and reading Have Clothes, Will Travel. Without you, this blog would not be possible. I can’t thank you all enough for reading, sharing, and interacting with my content. It means the world to me, and this yearly giveaway is just a small way of showing my appreciation to you all.

This year has been a lot more fun blogging-wise than last year lol. I’m starting to get back in the groove of things and have been having a lot of fun creating more “newsy” content for Yahoo. (You can also follow my Yahoo adventures here if interested.)

It’s opened the door for some really cool travel opportunities, too! I’ve been to the Dalarna region of Sweden, where I went downhill skiing and dogsledding for the first time in my life! And most recently biked along the Göta Canal in Sweden (stay tuned, I’ll be publishing that story on Yahoo shortly).

I also had the trip of a lifetime with Galakiwi in the Galapagos! Seriously, if you want to journey to the Galapagos, Galakiwi is the way to do it (let them know I say hi!). We saw it all – giant tortoises, blue-footed boobies, penguins, hammerhead sharks, rays, and more. It was incredible!

Since my last blogiversary, my mom and Dave also traveled internationally with me for the first time! We road-tripped around Ireland for almost 2 weeks. It was amazing (even if it was the first time in my life I experienced food poisoning lol!) Hopefully, we can do some more trips together in the future!

I’ve also done some nice trips a little closer to home, too – like Cabo, San Diego (did some awesome hiking/climbing there, below), and Chicago. I’m hoping to do a little more traveling around Wisconsin in the fall, as it is absolutely magical around here during this time of year!

We also welcomed a new family member! If you missed it, we adopted Dexter almost 2 months ago from the Fox Valley Humane Association. He’s a snuggly 11-year-old boy who purrs like a maniac and loves his fluffy blanky and butterfly toy. He has been a great addition to our family, and I can’t imagine not having this snuggly guy in our lives! Senior cats are seriously the best.

If you’ve been thinking about adding another family member to your home, check out the Fox Valley Humane Association. They have so many wonderful critters in need of a home right now (and they are at max capacity for their kitties)!
