As the nation’s capital and the seat of government for the entire United States of America, it’s no wonder that Washington D.C. was the most named city of importance. With historic landmarks such as the White House, Washington Monument, and the Lincoln Memorial, this grand city holds a lot of significance to American history, politics, and policy.
New York, New York
You can’t talk about important cities in the United States without mentioning the Big Apple. It’s not only the financial capital of the U.S., home to the New York Stock Exchange and Wall Street, but also represents many other industries, ranging from fashion and entertainment to shipping and trade.
Los Angeles, California
Los Angeles is undoubtedly the entertainment industry capital of the world, with most film and television being produced there. Considering that most of what people watch worldwide in their free time comes from this city, its influence can’t be understated.
