Taylor Swift’s Engagement Ring Costs a Fortune — Here Are Affordable Dupes You Can Actually Buy
Same old-mine inspired vibe, no Kelce-size budget required.
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are officially engaged, and while the announcement itself nearly broke the internet, it’s the ring that has everyone talking.
The Design
On August 26, Swift shared several photos on Instagram of Kelce down on one knee in a flower-filled garden. The caption was pure Taylor wit: “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married 🧨.” Among the carousel of shots, she also slipped in a close-up of her sparkling new ring.

The ring, co-designed by Kelce and New York–based jeweler Kindred Lubeck of Artifex Fine Jewelry, features a rare old-mine brilliant-cut diamond (sometimes described as a cushion-oval) set in an 18K yellow-gold bezel with hand-engraved detailing.
Old-mine cuts date back to the 1700s, each one shaped by hand before modern diamond-cutting machines existed. They’re known for their soft, romantic sparkle, especially under candlelight. Jewelers estimate Swift’s ring weighs in around 10 carats and could be valued between $750,000 and $1 million.

Why It Fits Swift
The design is perfectly in step with Swift’s personal style. She’s long gravitated toward vintage-inspired looks, retro silhouettes, bold red lips, and even era-themed albums. This ring captures that spirit: timeless and romantic, with just enough of a twist to stand apart from the prong-set platinum solitaires we usually see in Hollywood.
The warm yellow-gold setting is also notable. While many celebrity rings lean platinum or white gold, Taylor’s choice reflects a growing shift back to classic yellow — a subtle nod to her love of vintage accessories.
Why Swift’s Ring Is About to Spark a Trend
Celebrity engagement rings often shape what’s next in bridal jewelry, and Swift’s is already a talking point among jewelers. Expect “old-mine cut” and “bezel setting” searches to skyrocket this year as brides look for something unique, secure, and with a touch of history.
Bezel settings are also practical. They protect the stone better than traditional prongs — a smart move for someone constantly performing on stage and living under a million cameras. It’s not just beautiful, it’s functional.

Get the Look
While Taylor’s ring is custom and likely unattainable for most, there are plenty of ways to channel the same vibe at different price points:

This bezel-set oval moissanite ring on Amazon nails Taylor’s vintage-meets-modern vibe — and it’s under $300.

Nordstrom’s 3-carat lab-grown diamond bezel ring in 14K gold is a sleek, mid-range dupe that mirrors Swift’s timeless sparkle for about $1,300.

This 3 ct lab grown emerald cut diamond in a bezel setting captures Taylor’s vintage meets modern sparkle for about $2,500 at Blue Nile.

Revolve’s emerald-cut bezel ring in gold gives you Taylor’s aesthetic for under $100—perfect if you just want the vibe, no full commitment.
The Bigger Picture
From co-writing a custom ring with a rising NYC jeweler to reshaping bridal jewelry trends overnight, Swift has once again proven her cultural influence extends far beyond music. The engagement announcement was simple and sweet, but the ring? That’s about to launch a thousand Pinterest boards.

Nice dupes
Wow. It’s insane people spend so much on a ring. To each their own. I love these emerald cut shown on this post!
Thank you for sharing this
such an amazing site to visit indeed
That ring is quite the stunner
Wow….I knew the ring was a lot of money but NOT that much money. I love bluenile for jewelry and will check that out.
I think her ring is amazing! Not something I would feel comfortable wearing, but it suits her perfectly and I love the yellow gold! I have always preferred the yellow gold over the white metals. I think the diamonds stand out better when set in yellow gold.
It is beautiful!
So beautiful, but I prefer more simplicity.
I’m sure it cost a fortune, but not really a fan.
this would make a great gift!
