Kevin Hart is roasting a Kevin Hart wax figure that, according to just about everyone online, does not look much like Kevin Hart.

The comedian reacted after seeing a wax version of himself at the Hollywood Wax Museum in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, and he did not try to be polite about it. Honestly, I can’t blame him.

“WTTTTFFFFF …. What did I do to these people…. This is an attack…. Who in the f–k is this??????” Hart wrote on Instagram. He followed that with, “At this point these museums are just trying to make me cry 🥺😂😂😂😂….. This s–t has to stop…. I demand a redo damn it!!!!!!!”

That pretty much set the tone for the rest of the internet, which had plenty to say.

A lot of the comments focused on the fact that the figure somehow looked familiar, just not in a Kevin Hart way. One person wrote, “This looks like Kevin Hart if you’ve never seen Kevin Hart.” Another said it looked like “the Weeknd and Kevin Hart mixed together.”

Others started throwing out celebrity comparisons. “Looks like a cross between Ice Cube and Kevin Hart,” one commenter wrote, while another said, “This looks more like Craig David.” Someone else compared it to “a skinny Druski,” which is not a sentence I expected to type today.

One commenter joked, “Kevin Hart walked in expecting a mirror moment but instead got, ‘This is my cousin who sells mixtapes out of his trunk.’” Another wrote, “Guy on the left looks like Kevin Smart.”

A few people were also very stuck on the details. “Not even the same skin tone..lol,” one person wrote. Another asked, “Okay but….is he taller?” which, admittedly, was a solid jab.

And then there were the comments that really got to the heart of the issue: “In what world is this Kevin Hart??!! 😂” and “It’s like they didn’t even try😭🤣💀.”

Bad celebrity wax figures are always good for a laugh, but this one feels especially off. It’s close enough that you can see what they were going for, but not close enough to stop people from inventing entirely new identities for it.

Hart, at least, handled it the best possible way by making himself part of the joke. At this point, a redo probably is the only answer.

For another recent wax figure reveal that left fans very confused, take a look at the reaction to Zendaya’s new Madame Tussauds figure.
