Here’s Where You Should Travel in 2026, Based on Your Zodiac Sign

It turns out that your zodiac sign has a lot more influence on your travel plans than you might think.

Choosing a vacation spot can feel very personal. Some people want nature and quiet. Others want museums, nightlife, great food, or a hotel they can get excited about before they even book the flight.

A new ranking from Bitz leans into that idea through astrology, matching each zodiac sign with a 2026 travel destination using astrocartography, a form of locational astrology. Celebrity astrologer Inbaal Honigman helped analyze the signs and assign each one a destination.

What astrocartography has to do with travel

According to the study, astrocartography is an extension of a person’s birth chart that is used to identify places around the world that may be especially aligned with different parts of their life. Honigman explained that the “Sun Line” is where you feel most like yourself, the “Venus Line” is associated with home, and Jupiter is considered especially favorable for holidays.

Using that framework, Honigman matched each zodiac sign with a destination she says best suits that sign’s personality and travel style for 2026.

Capricorn (December 22–January 19): Melbourne, Australia
Capricorns are usually drawn to places that feel polished, interesting, and worth their time, which is likely why Melbourne landed here. Honigman describes it as a strong fit for this sign’s mix of discipline and creativity, with a travel style that leans just as comfortably toward gallery-hopping and coffee stops as it does toward a slower afternoon in the Royal Botanic Gardens.

Aquarius (January 20–February 18): New Zealand
For Aquarius, the pick was New Zealand, which makes sense for a sign often associated with independence and a love of wide-open spaces. The study points to its dramatic coastlines, fjords, and national parks as a natural match for travelers who want room to roam and a trip that feels a little less predictable. (I highly recommend spending time in Queenstown, pictured above.)

Pisces (February 19–March 20): Hawaii
Pisces was paired with Hawaii, a destination that fits the sign’s dreamy, water-loving reputation almost too perfectly. With clear seas, beaches, and volcanic landscapes, it is easy to see why the study framed this as a place where Pisces can both unwind and lean into a little adventure.

Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Libra (September 23–October 22): United Arab Emirates
Libra’s destination was the United Arab Emirates, which the study ties to the sign’s love of elegance, luxury, and culture. With high-end hotels and a more glamorous overall feel, it is positioned as a destination for travelers who want their trip to feel stylish from the start.

Sagittarius got Tokyo, which feels like a very easy sell for a sign known for curiosity and a love of discovery. The study points to the city’s cuisine, major landmarks, and constant sense of motion, making it a fitting choice for travelers who want a trip packed with things to explore. (As a Sagittarius, I fully support a trip to Tokyo!)

Astrology-based rankings like this are obviously more about inspiration than strict travel planning, but that is part of the appeal. Sometimes a list like this is just a fun way to look at destinations you may not have considered otherwise!
