Margot Robbie’s “Wuthering Heights” Jewelry Is Getting a Price Tag — and the Numbers Are Wild

A new valuation breakdown from Dawsons Auctioneers looks at both ends of the spectrum: the modern, headline-making red-carpet diamonds, and the more restrained period-style pieces tied to her character, Cathy.
The Paris premiere diamonds could be worth up to $4.1 million
The commentary comes from Jonathan Pratt, Managing Director at Dawsons Auctioneers, who specializes in valuing and auctioning jewelry.
His estimate for the champagne diamond necklace and ring worn at the Paris premiere lands in a $2.7 million to $4.1 million range. These figures are estimates based on publicly visible details and comparable auction sales.
He also notes that champagne diamonds have become more sought after in recent years, in part because of their warmer tones and the fact that no two stones look exactly the same.
The on-screen pieces are quieter, but they’re not “cheap”
What’s interesting is the contrast. The jewelry shown on screen is meant to feel more symbolic and period-appropriate, closer to late Georgian and 19th-century fashion. It isn’t designed to steal the scene.
That doesn’t mean it wouldn’t still command serious money.
Pratt says a ruby-and-diamond graduated fringe necklace like the one associated with Cathy could be worth around $270,000 even without any Hollywood connection. The pearl earrings could be a sleeper hit at auction
He also highlights Cathy’s pearl-and-diamond drop earrings, describing them as “simple and beautiful,” and the type of piece that would be highly sought after today.
Natural pearls of good size and quality are rare, especially once you get past 10mm. Pratt says pearls in that range can reach up to $14,000 per pearl, with period earrings selling anywhere from $27,000 to $340,000 at auction, depending on factors like condition, quality, and provenance.

The easy takeaway is the headline number, but the bigger point is how jewelry can shift in value based on the story attached to it.
A high jewelry piece worn once is already valuable. Add global press, a major film release, and the kind of red-carpet moment people remember, and that interest tends to stick. The same goes for period-style pieces when they’re linked to a film’s look and a defining performance.
