My Team Instinct Outfit
I know what you’re probably thinking…”Come on! Wasn’t the Pokémon Go craze going on months ago? Why are you bringing it up again?” And that, my friends, is because this weekend Niantic released the “Gen 2” Pokémon. So, there’s a whole bunch of adorable new Pokémon to catch! And Pokémon fans are quite excited!
I never really stopped playing the game. My husband and I both enjoy it. But, recently, we weren’t playing as much as we had been initially. But now, with this release, we are hitting the streets to play some more Pokémon Go! And what better time to break out my cool Team Instinct shirt I had received for Christmas? My brother-in-law, Ryan, had surprised me with it! He knows me well, haha. Thank you, Ryan! (Team Instinct is the Pokémon team I belong to.)
And getting out to battle and catch some Pokémon was pretty much the only time I left my apartment this weekend. I had such a bad flu bug that I spent most of the weekend in bed. But Sunday afternoon we made a point to walk over to the State Library of New South Wales (where these photos were taken) to catch some Pokémon and do some gym battles. (And get me some fresh air!)
Also, I figured it would be relevant to show off my awesome new phone case in this post too! It has real pressed flower in it! Now, I had bought this off ModCloth…but they’re already sold out of it (things have been going so quickly on their site lately). But I did link to some identical ones I found on Etsy, below.
Oh, and speaking of ModCloth, some of you may have heard that their Stylish Surprise was supposed to be today. Sorry – they’re postponing it until March 6th. The email I had received said it was just because “they need a little more time to make it the biggest and best sale ever.” But, I’m thinking they want to make sure their site is working properly after the mess of an upgrade they just did. I hope you’re feeling better from the flu! This outfit is soooo adorable! I love that you have a team Pokémon shirt too. I know so many people that played the game in the summer and fall. Once winter hit, everyone stopped haha. Cold frigid weather will do that to you lol. That iPhone case is absolutely beautiful too. It has me dreaming of spring and summer.
