My Honest Framebridge Review: How I Framed My Favorite Travel Photos Online
Like most travelers, I’ve collected a ridiculous amount of photos over the years… and almost none of them ever make it onto my walls. This year, I wanted to change that and actually bring a few of those memories into my home.
That’s how I ended up trying Framebridge. In this post, I’m sharing my full experience with their online framing service, the pieces I ordered, the customer service, the turnaround time, and whether I’ll keep using them.

My First Order: The Rialto Frame
I started small, testing out Framebridge with one of my favorite photos, a lion I photographed on safari in Kenya. I chose the Rialto frame and selected a cream linen mat with a subtle chocolate accent. It’s a warm, timeless look that suited the photo perfectly.
Specs:
- Frame: Rialto
- Final Size: 18.625″ x 21.875″
- Photo Size: 13″ x 16.25″
- Mat Style: Cream Linen with Chocolate Accent Mat
- Price: $275
I wasn’t sure what to expect, but the finished piece looked fantastic. The frame is well-made, the print came out beautifully, and the whole thing just looks really clean and professional. It definitely exceeded what I thought I’d get from an online service.

How the Process Works
Ordering through Framebridge is simple. You upload your photo, choose your frame and mat style, and the site automatically generates a preview. You can see how different frame styles and colors change the overall feel, which is addicting if you like design even a little bit.

Once you finalize your selections, Framebridge handles the printing, matting, and framing. You’ll get a final proof before checkout, along with size and pricing details.
One important tip: always double-check the “final size” after you upload everything. This size will differ from your actual photo dimensions depending on the frame and mat you select. If you’re having trouble reaching your desired frame or photo size, reach out to their support team — they’re amazing and will make sure you get exactly what look/dimensions you are going for (speaking from experience here).

Creating a Matching Set
After seeing how good that first frame turned out, I decided to order two more photos to create a cohesive set for my living room. I wanted them to be identical in size and layout to the original lion photo, so I emailed Framebridge’s support team for help.
They got back to me within minutes and made sure everything matched perfectly. That kind of hands-on service is rare these days, especially from an online company.

I ended up ordering three more pieces with the Oxford frame:
- Meteora, Greece – Oxford Frame | 42″ x 29.25″ | $340
- Jerash, Jordan – Oxford Frame | 29″ x 20.625″ | $265
- Elephant Eye, Kenya – Oxford Frame | 18″ x 13.25″ | $145
Even when I accidentally uploaded a compressed version of my Jerash photo, the team caught it instantly and helped me replace the file before my order was processed.

A Few Quick Tips for Ordering
If you’re thinking about printing your own photos with Framebridge, here are a few things I’ve learned along the way:
- Upload the highest-resolution file possible. It makes a huge difference in sharpness and color accuracy.
- Measure your wall space first. The “final frame size” includes the mat and frame, so what you hang up will be larger than the photo itself.
- Ask for help if needed. Their support team is fast, friendly, and great at helping you reach specific size or style goals.

Shipping & Quality
Every one of my orders shipped in under a week after I uploaded the photos. Each frame arrived packaged securely and ready to hang.
The craftsmanship is beautiful. The Oxford frames are sleek and contemporary, while the Rialto feels more classic and textural. The color accuracy and print quality are spot-on – there are no muddy tones or pixelation. Everything looks exactly like it did on my screen, only better!

Who Framebridge Is Best For
Framebridge is perfect for anyone who wants to display travel photos, wedding pictures, or even kids’ artwork without the hassle of in-person framing shops. It’s especially ideal if you appreciate design but don’t have time to play around with corner samples and mat boards.
Whether you’re creating a single statement piece or a full gallery wall, it’s an easy and surprisingly fun process.
