My Honest Herbishh Review After 30 Days of Use With Before & After Photos
Having thin, frizzy hair is something I have struggled with all my life, and now in recent years, I also have some pesky grey hairs poking through.
I typically don’t talk about the hair products I use because I honestly haven’t found any I love all that much to write about. I’ve become very resigned and indifferent to my haircare routine.
However, the folks at Herbishh were kind enough to send me a slew of their products, including their famous Color Shampoo, to help with these issues. I’ll be honest: I have tried numerous products over the years, and I really didn’t think a month of using Herbishh products would do much for me. (Spoiler: I was pleasantly surprised!)
I also am someone who hasn’t dyed their own hair since they were a teenager. (I screwed it up enough at that time to permanently scare me away from ever doing it myself again.) I ALWAYS go to a professional now. So, the Herbishh Color Shampoo made me rather nervous to use!
This post will go over my honest experience of using the Herbishh Color Shampoo, Pro Keratin Argan Hair Mask, Thickening Shampoo and Conditioner, Hair Volume Spray, and Hair Essence Oil.

My Herbishh Hair Color Shampoo Review

Before I used Herbishh Hair Color Shampoo
As I mentioned above, I never color my own hair at home. I’ve left this to trained professionals since I royally screwed it up as a teenager! And I have been coloring my hair ever since I was a teenager because I can’t stand the ashy, dull color of my natural hair. I also now have some persistent grey hairs that keep poking through.
However, the Herbishh Hair Color Shampoo seemed much easier to use than a regular box dye.
The Application Process: Quick and Easy
For the application, I simply had to apply it like a regular shampoo and try to cover all the hair strands I wanted to dye. Let it sit for 10 to 15 minutes to allow the color to develop, and then thoroughly rinse it off.
I also used the Herbishh Hair Mask with Argan Oil when I rinsed out the Shampoo.

After Using Herbishh Color Shampoo
I was most impressed by how there was ZERO scalp staining. I hate having a weird line on my scalp after getting my hair dyed. And despite my messy application of this Color Shampoo, it rinsed right off my scalp and left no trace! I thought it looked quite natural after I was done.

Note: Some past reviews of The Herbishh color shampoo also mentioned how ill-fitting the gloves are that the shampoo comes with. They must have recently changed their gloves, as I found these to fit quite well and did a good job of keeping my hands clean during the process.
Given that I don’t have much hair, I barely used a quarter of the shampoo bottle and the hair mask packet. So, for me, this is incredibly cost-effective. Typically when I get my hair dyed at a professional salon, it costs more than $100 just to get it dyed. This dye experience with Herbishh technically would only cost me $10, as I will be able to continue using this bottle at least 3 more times.
How Long-Lasting Is the Color Shampoo?
This is what my hair looks like after 3 weeks from when I first used the Color Shampoo (above). Other than a little outgrowth, it hasn’t faded too much. I anticipate it will last much longer than 3 weeks for me.
Do I Recommend Herbishh Color Shampoo?
I wholeheartedly recommend Herbishh Color Shampoo. I won’t be going to the hair salon again for hair dye unless I decide to add some highlights to it. As of right now, just dying my roots to get out the ashy color and the grey hair strands, the Herbishh Color Shampoo does the job just as well as going to a professional.
The best part? It is SO much more affordable. I am so excited not to spend hundreds of dollars every year getting my hair colored when I can do it at home for roughly $10, and it only takes about 15 minutes!

Herbishh Hair Volumizing Ultimate Kit Review
I have also been using the Hair Volumizing Ultimate Kit for the past 30 days. Prior to this, I was using Davines Momo Shampoo and Conditioner. I ended up sticking with Davines because I liked how it seemed to keep my hair moisturized without weighing it down and the fact that it was all natural. Most shampoos and conditioners dry my hair out horribly and cause it to be even frizzier (especially “thickening” shampoos and conditioners).
This Volumizing Kit is said to help with hair loss, bald patches, and overall healthy hair growth.
I do deal with hair loss and am starting to get some bald patches and a receding hairline the older I get. I am willing to try anything at this point that will help at least some of my hair grow back!
Quick Overview of the Products
The Thickening Shampoo and Conditioner works well in terms of cleaning my hair, keeping the frizz at bay, and just keeping my hair feeling healthy and clean.
I really don’t know what the Hair Volume Essence Oil is supposed to do in this kit. I just used it every few days. It seems to make my hair pretty heavy. I don’t especially love it.
But the Hair Volume Spray is great! I use it on my hair after it is styled but before I put my hairspray on. It really seems to give it a great amount of fullness that I haven’t been able to achieve with other products (even Bumble and Bumbles Thickening Spray). I only use one pump for my hair.

The Verdict? Do I Recommend the Hair Volumizing Ultimate Kit?
Now, I’ll be honest, I don’t think my head is necessarily growing more hair after 30 days of use. I haven’t noticed a huge difference in my hairline.
However, that said, my hair does feel stronger, and I have not had nearly as much hair loss as I typically do in a given month. I think using this set has really improved my hair health, but I’m not sure if it is necessarily making it “thicker.”
I’ll personally keep using it whether it’s making my hair thicker or not, though, as it is also made from natural ingredients (like the Davines products), but I need so much less product. It’s great! I didn’t even go through a half bottle of the shampoo and conditioner this last month. Whereas, I would easily be on my second bottle of Davines by this time (you need to use SO much of their products).
I also do think this Volume Kit is making my hair significantly healthier than any product I’ve ever used in the past. And again, it is much more affordable than other haircare products I’ve used in the past.

Quick Pro Keratin Argan Hair Mask Review
I’m kind of bad about remembering to use Hair Masks. This is because I haven’t really found one that has done much for my hair other than weight it down.
I used this Pro Keratin Argan Mask every other week. I let it sit for about 5 minutes while I shaved my legs in the shower.
It’s hard for me to say if this mask is making a huge difference, as I have been using so many new products the last 30 days! However, this mask is definitely NOT weighing down my hair after I use it. And my hair does feel much softer after I rinse it out.
This is one that I will have to use a little more before I can give a solid recommendation one way or another, but my first impressions of this product are positive.
Final Thoughts
Herbishh is going to be my new go-to hair care product. I am really impressed with the products I have used from them, especially the Color Shampoo. I am most excited by how much money I will be saving too by switching to Herbishh! Their prices are quite affordable compared to many salon brands nowadays.
